How to Replace Timing Belt on Creality K1 / K1 Max

Replacing the timing belt is a straightforward maintenance task that can restore print quality and extend the life of your machine. In this guide, we'll walk you through the complete process, from correct belts required and install process for optimal performance.

Spare Parts Referenced: 


Replacement Belts : Gates 6MM GT2 RF 6mm - 2metres 

Replacement Belts : Gates 6mm GT2 EPDM - 2.4metres


2x 2m is required to replace both belts path for K1, K1 Max, K1C 

(For the smaller printer you will need to cut down to size more, the K1 Max stock belts measure at around ~1.8metres each per axis). 


Install Video (K1 Max):

Belt Specifications: 6mm Wide , 2GT, 1.8m (For K1 Max)


Install Video (K1):

Belt Specifications: 6mm Wide , 2GT, 1.8m (For K1 Max) - Cut to Length after installing belt (cut off excess).
