Tools and Materials Needed

Before you begin, gather the following tools and materials:

  • Creality All Metal Direct Drive Sprite Extruder Pro Kit
  • Screwdriver set (including Phillips and Allen hex keys)
  • Pliers or tweezers (for small connector install/removal) 
  • Iso Alcohol (to loose hot glue on the connector on mainboard)

Additional Notes:

  1. We do recommenced doing a PID auto tune to most common temperature (PID Auto Tune Guide)
  2. You will need to re-level your bed or updated your z-off set if you're using a BL Touch/CR Touch, the breakout cable for bl touch/cr touch is not included, you would need to run these cable back to mainboard.
  3. Plug in your heater, as some batches have heater unplug from breakout boards.


Troubleshooting Tips

  • Filament Slippage: Check the idler tension and ensure the filament guide is properly aligned.
  • Filament Grinding: Reduce the tension on the extruder gear and ensure the filament path is clear of obstructions.
  • Inconsistent Extrusion: Recalibrate the E-steps and adjust the flow rate in your slicer settings.
